The Community Sequencing Program
The Department of Energy
The Department of Energy (DOE) is currently accepting applications for the Community Sequencing Program (CSP).
The program was created to provide the scientific community with access to high-throughput sequencing at the DOE's Joint Genome Institute (JGI). Sequencing projects will be chosen based on scientific merit and relevance to issues in global carbon cycling, alternative energy production, and bioremediation. A letter of intent must be submitted between December 1. 2007 and January 28, 2008. Deadline: March 18, 2008.
